Blooming Fields

We can attempt to teach the things that one might imagine the earth would teach us: silence, humility, holiness, connectedness, courtesy, beauty, celebration, giving, restoration, obligation and wildness.

The Best Use for White

When I put Alder in a white shirt that morning I at first paused my immediate thought was that if he wore white it would get dirty. But that was the reason this shirt has seen no use he gets what ever he is wearing dirty. It would be a waste of the shirt for him not to wear it. Later we found this wonderful tree that was ringed in...dirt, the wonderful smooth sort that seems more like ashes. Alder was so happy there and the light was just right this is what followed.
