While most people are already gearing up for the Christmas season my family Thanksgiving is the holiday of the year. Alder and I are off to spend time at the family house to help with the cooking, kindling collecting, and sharing in all the joy. What more could I want out of a holiday; food, family, a little wine and a lot of talk. I'll be back with pictures and stories.Be well and enjoy the best day of the year.

I agree! It is my favorite holiday. My dad comes up, we all cook together, a truly delicious meal and we drink wine and talk and laugh. It is the best day of the year!
